Travel Grant Opportunities
The 18th World Congress of Public Health Grant is designed to give to few motivated attendees who require financial assistance an opportunity to attend the Congress. The grant is fundamentally equity based and eligibility criteria for consideration fall into the following categories:
- Attendees with low earnings and from low to lower-middle income countries (as determined by World Bank country classifications) or
- Indigenous peoples and people from marginalised communities that continually experience lack of access and funding to attend events such as congress and are always underrepresented.
- Either full or part-time students that can demonstrate need for support.
Grants will be awarded based on both merit and demonstrated need. To apply, please read the Travel Grant Guidelines carefully.
Grant Award Process
Grant application opens – December 10th, 2025
Grant application closes – January 15th, 2026
Grant notification – February 28th, 2026
Only applications that fully comply with the criteria outlined in the Travel Grant Guidelines will be considered. Please ensure all required documents are submitted together in a single email. Only applications submitted with all required documents in the same email will be considered.
Please note: presenting an abstract at the Congress is mandatory to apply. The deadline for abstract submission is January 31, 2026.
